Monday, 5 PM. We meet Paul & Isolde from the Netherlands in the pastry @ Cornudella de Montsant. They stay until 25th of November.

Wednesday. Climbing all day in Siuranella Centre, this sector dries very quickly. Derzou tries Berrio Cabrero (7B+), a 30m pumpy overhang, but cannot complete it at once. Paul & Isolde trying El Ploramique (30m,8A).

Friday. Sector El Pati, we meet an old friend from Belgium Mr. Guga. He is more into surfing than climbing for the last two years.
El Pati is truly an amazing wall, full of nice looking 7 & 8 grades. After a few 7A routes, Derzou tries El prado del rey (30m, 7B+, #28). He cannot complete it at once, but after some more bananas things will be better, he assures me. I climb a nice 30m 7A, Viagraman (#30).

Saturday. Easy climbing in Esperó Primavera. Hugo & Oxny from Swiss join us for their last climbing day in Siurana.

Tommorow filling our food supply in Reus.

Tuesday, 2 PM. First problem solving, it takes us 4 hours to find a suitable gas bottle. In the camper we have heating, fridge and the cooker on gas. After showing our type of gas bottle in almost every petrol station, on the way to Reus, we find a Repsol gas bottle warehouse in the direction Montblanc. The employee is convinced we will not find an exchange for ours. Their model is bigger and has a different gas shutter. A Moroccan family leads us to a specialized shop, where they have a suitable gas shutter.
The only disadvantage is that butane evaporates from 0 degrees, this can give a problem when it is freezing. Let's wait and see.

Wednesday & Thursday. We climb 7 grade routes in Siuranella Centre sector. One of them is a beautiful classic 7A, Tikis mikis.

Saturday 3 PM. Warming up at the Can Piqui Puqui sector. Derzou climbs two beautiful, classic routes. First one is Gamba gamba (32m, 7B) opened by Yuji Hirayama back in 1991, the year Derzou started climbing, second one is Cruela de vil (32m, 7B). Both routes are definitely on my ‘to do’ list.

Saturday 7 PM. I prepare a Thai-Indian stew (cashews, coconut milk with peanut, curry and vegetables) for dinner, mmm.

Sunday 9 PM. Derzou, Steffi & Hugo playing cards @ Hugo’s VW Van.

Today it is raining nonstop, including thunder and lightning. Tomorrow we would like to climb in El Pati sector.

Wednesday, 2 AM. We arrive late at the Franchard Isatis parking in Fontainebleau (stopover). In the morning things are not looking good, the boulders are wet .
In the afternoon we find a few dry boulders at Isatis to play.

Friday, 3 PM. We arrive at the Siurana rocks, parking at La Bassa with 1750 km on the counter.
A Danish climber asks us why we did not bring good weather. It had been raining all week. The sun will visit on Monday, he says.
On Saturday we climb our first routes near the famous “Piqui Pugui” sector . Things are getting in perspective. We feel actually how many time we can spend near the rocks, how this will improve our climbing and how many fun there is to experience.
